NitroGuard IPS cryptographic module
NitroGuard IPS cryptographic module, from NitroSecurity Inc., holds FIPS 140-2 certificate #1097 at overall level 2. The NitroGuard IPS is a multi-chip standalone cryptographic module consisting of production-grade components contained within an opaque hard production-grade enclosure (the outside case is steel). The removable cover is protected by tamper evident security seals in accordance with FIPS 140-2 Level 2. The cryptographic boundary is the metal enclosure of the device. The network interface cards do not contain any security-relevant functionality. They are within the cryptographic boundary but are excluded from the evaluation.
