Module description

This cryptographic module has been developed by Thales Alenia Space and it has been implemented within the Ground Cryptographic Processor (GCP) placed on Earth and within the Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) transponder unit. The aim of this cryptographic module is to enable the NASA to encrypt communications at the GCP, and decrypt and authenticate them at the transponder unit using AES-GCM. It is able to encrypt/decrypt and authenticate messages from 128 bytes to 1024 bytes of information in 128-bit blocks.
