Modules in process
The FIPS pipeline has three public stops. A vendor hires a lab and shows up on the implementation-under-test list. The lab submits the report and the module moves here, to modules in process, where NIST reviews it. When that clears, a certificate is issued and appears in the tracker with the next snapshot. Listing at either of the first two stops is voluntary, and NIST says outright that being on the list guarantees nothing.
The date column is when the module entered its current phase, not when it was submitted, so it says little about total time in the queue. Where the queue stands right now:
